The school canteen
The school canteen will help children acquire healthy eating habits and learn the rules for optimal nutrition in the future, as the menus are reviewed by our nutritionist and pediatrician.
There will also be two health inspections (CATERING AND SCHOOL), which are responsible for ensuring food safety and control.
The menus are specially prepared by the Catering Alvalín, which has its central kitchens in Arganda del Rey, with over 4,000 m² of facilities equipped with the latest technologies.
All dishes are prepared daily with top-quality ingredients, allowing us to adapt to each child’s individual needs, with menus tailored for children who have food allergies (celiac disease, cow’s milk protein allergy, etc.), diets that exclude animal-based foods (ovolacto-vegetarian, pork-free, vegan, etc.), or soft diets as needed.
As you know, all food services are not mandatory and are optional for families, depending on individual needs (breakfast, snack, lunch, and afternoon snack), with the exception of children who take bottles, for whom each pediatrician recommends a different type of milk, breast milk, or cereals.
Therefore, no food from home will be allowed, as there are children with allergies, intolerances, or who have not yet reached the age to start certain foods. A small oversight, such as food falling on the floor or being offered to another child, could lead to a very serious problem.
