Menagar was founded in 1981 and has since been gradually expanded by adding educational classrooms, common areas and a multipurpose classroom.
The school is accessed from the outside through the main door, although it has an entrance door for each of the classrooms. In total, it has one main entrance door, where the reception and management office are located. On this first floor we also find a large main entrance where families can put their children’s strollers, two adjoining classrooms with their respective bathroom and the kitchen. Four emergency exits located in each of the classrooms. Each of them has its own emergency exit to the outside, at street level.
The entire school is protected by gates, as well as doors with locks and security locks. From the building, the playground can be accessed through two gates. Access to the main gate is an entrance with a private garden.
Each classroom has an area prepared for the hygiene and diaper changing of the students. In the case of the oldest students in the school, the hygiene area has two toilets adapted to their height, as well as a sink that is also adapted.
Next, on the same floor, there is another door with an emergency exit that leads to the nursery. Next to it, there is the baby class, which has its own entrance through the nursery. The entire first floor has plenty of light from outside, as it has large windows that look out onto the outside. The floors are special for children and the baby class has a floor prepared so that they can go barefoot in both winter and summer.
The centre also has security cameras facing the outside to monitor the outdoor playground, connected to the management office, thus implementing greater security measures. We also have a very bright covered playground with natural light and ventilation.
